West Ham United midfielder Tomas Soucek wanted by Juventus for £45m
European giants Juventus are looking to overhaul their midfield and West Ham United’s Tomas Soucek has emerged as a potential candidate, according to Juve Dipendenza.
The Czech Republic international is in contract talks with the Hammers and wants an improved deal at the London Stadium that he could get if he left to head to Turin.
Juve Dipendenza believe the 27-year-old is valued at £45million but with the Irons in no rush to let him go, they could conceivably ask for much more than that.
Soucek could be the player who unlocks Manuel Locatelli at Juventus but for now, no move has been made by the Old Lady and he remains a West Ham player for the time being.
Going nowhere
Juve can try all they like but unless they are willing to break their already fragile bank to get him, he won’t be moving to Italy anytime soon.

He has a special relationship with the Hammers fans who adore his every touch in a claret and blue shirt which he would be a complete fool to give up.
Not only that, but he will struggle to find a midfielder he connects with better than our very own Declan Rice, who himself has been the subject of transfer interest for some time.
Neither should be desiring the chance to throw away their connection in the middle of the park and the likelihood of them both getting a move to the same team is virtually non-existent.
David Moyes has to send a stern message to not only Juventus but the rest of Europe that Soucek will cost a pretty penny to buy and then we’ll see who is willing to stay the course and who bails for a cheaper alternative.
