West Ham United midfielder Pablo Fornals update emerges as Real Betis chiefs to hold talks in London

Ramon Planes and Ramon Alarcon, of Real Betis have flown into London to discuss the signing of West Ham United midfielder Pablo Fornals, per ABC Sevilla.

According to the Spanish media outlet [21 July] sporting director and CEO of the Spanish club are at St George’s Park to speak about the potential of bringing the 27-year-old back to his home country.

The deal’s said to be at an advanced stage as another Hammers exit looks to be on the cards this summer.

Get a good fee

Fornals has been struggling to get minutes and if the club plans on signing another midfielder, it makes sense to let him leave for a decent fee.

He’s got one more year left on his deal and while David Moyes is not one to push him out, especially after Declan Rice’s sale, he may decide to part ways with the Hammers.

Fornals is very likely to get more game time at Betis and they may even make him a key player and get in players to bring the best out of him.

West Ham

At the London Stadium, Moyes is eyeing two midfielders to start along side Lucas Paqueta, which means that the Spaniard will be a bench player next season as well.

No fan would hold it against him if he does decide to leave this summer as it should be and hopefully, the hierarchy negotiations a good transfer fee.

They also need to start working on the incomings as no new players have been signed by the Hammers this summer.

In other West Ham news, the club have now opened advanced talks with a Premier League player who appears to be open on leaving his side this summer.
