The UOL report confessed that Luizao signed a contract putting pen to paper on the deal as he prepares to jet into England soon to start training at Rush Green.

“Luizão signed a contract valid for three and a half seasons with West Ham this Friday, with an option to renew for another two seasons,” as quoted by UOL.
The report also suggests that Sau Paulo will gain 15% of any future sales of the talented youngster.
“São Paulo, with whom the player only had a contract until January 2023, agreed to keep 15% of a future sale.”

First of many?
The Hammers transfer strategy has certainly changed in recent seasons and honestly, it’s great to see the club scouting unknown classy talents from faraway shores.
Whether the Brazilian youngster is the real deal or not remains to be seen but there is every chance his strong physicality and pace could thrive in the English top flight.
And the Hammers definitely need to shore up their defensive ranks, it’s an area of concern in the team and an area where many talents are ageing.
The youngster won’t come in straight away for Moyes’s setup but he could be an effective cog to utilise in Europa UEFA Conference League games.
West Ham United need all the players they can get to maintain strong efforts throughout league and cup competition and an extra pair of legs will be helpful.
It will be interesting to see if the Hammers sign any more players in January, it has been hinted before that player sales may need to be made if there are any incomings at the London Stadium.
