West Ham United: Injury Expert shares Kurt Zouma update ahead of FA Cup clash v Bristol City
West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma faces a late fitness test ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup clash against Bristol City at the London Stadium, according to Ben Dinnery.
The Injury Expert sharing an update on his Premier Injuries Data (5 January) shares that the Frenchman will face a late fitness test in order to determine whether he will face off against the Championship outfit at the London Stadium (7 January).
The 29-year-old Frenchman has been out of action since the 2-0 win over Manchester United on 23 December after suffering a knee injury but there’s a chance he could feature against Bristol City.

Dinnery also shared that Lucas Paqueta, Michail Antonio and Vladimir Coufal all also face late fitness tests ahead of Sunday’s game.
Risk
The FA Cup is the latest competition facing the Irons and they have an excellent chance of reaching the fourth round.
Bristol City have been in reasonable form under Liam Manning, but they are far from the finished article and certainly pose no real threat to the Hammers’ potential progress.

Even with a couple of changes, the Hammers should have more than enough quality to breeze past the Robins, especially at home.
West Ham United could certainly likely be handed some much-needed boosts ahead of the game with Paqueta, Zouma, Antonio and Coufal likely available should they pass their fitness tests.
However, with a short January break approaching David Moyes and his men, they may not be risked, giving them time to rest and recuperate properly for the Premier League return.
The Hammers face some critical weeks ahead this month and in February and will need all their key muscle in tip-top condition in order to perform to their maximum best.
Despite that, Moyes must surely pick a strong side for Sunday’s game as Irons fans demand a strong cup run.
In other West Ham news, one Sky Sports journalist has urged the Hammers to sign an England international striker this January
