The Hammers are now looking to make their third signing of the summer having already signed Nayef Aguerd and Alphonse Areola.

The London outfit should look to sign a new left-back, with Arthur Masuaku likely to be sold this summer.

Aaron Cresswell continues to be a key player for the club, even though his performance hasn’t always been consistent.

Last season, Cresswell did well overall, but made some costly errors at the back in the Champions League.

The Dutch market is proving to be a catchment area for Premier League clubs, and the AZ Alkmaar defender is now emerging as a serious target.

The 22-year-old Dutch international is the captain of AZ, which shows his talent and leadership ability.

Last season (2021-22), he provided 12 assists in all competitions, and he could be a handy addition to the club.

The youngster is very strong with his passing and his ability to hold on to the ball. He managed 1.4 tackles in Eredivise, as per Who Scored, but looks a brilliant talent.
