West Ham United have six Filip Kostic alternative left-back options for transfer – ExWHUemployee

West Ham United have six alternative transfer options to Eintracht Frankfurt wing-back Filip Kostic, according to ExWHUemployee.

The reliable source has named Borna Sosa, Alex Grimaldo, Maxwel Cornet and David Hancko, as well as two unnamed options that could arrive at the London Stadium.

Ex has shared that everyone at the club is determined to get a new left-side option through the door, with sights still set on a difficult deal for Kostic, as things stand.

Writing on the official West Ham Way Patreon page, Ex shared the other options that could be brought into the club with everyone determined to get a deal over the line.

“There are other targets for this position that have been identified, however,” he wrote.

“These include Borna Sosa, who has a lot of competition, Álex Grimaldo of Benfica, Max Cornett of Burnley although he is close to joining other clubs and David Hancko of Sparta Prague. There is a couple of other targets who haven’t been named yet with everyone determined to get a left sided player through the door.”

Decisions.

Kostic appears as though he is still the main choice, with his agent, Alessandro Lucci said to be attempting to persuade his client into the move.

But, there becomes a certain point where you have to decide to move on, and we are nearing that stage now with one month left in the window and less than a week until the Premier League starts.

With six potential options available to GSBK, they will soon want David Moyes and Rob Newman to make up their minds over who is the top choice of those.

Sosa looks as though he would be courted by many clubs and could become another saga, with the likes of Cornet potentially the same at Burnley.

Hancko and Grimaldo would be interesting options, with the two unnamed options also on the table.

One thing for sure is that we need to get moving, with another midfielder also wanted and potentially even more in this last month, it’s time to get going.
