West Ham United have no intention of sacking David Moyes after defeat v Tottenham Hotspur
West Ham have no plans to sack David Moyes as manager despite the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday which saw them drop into the relegation zone.
The Hammers fell into the bottom three after goals from Emerson Royal and Heung-Min Son in the second half, ending the club’s three-game unbeaten run in recent weeks.
But despite the defeat and the league position of the side, The Telegraph are reporting that the club have no plans to sack Moyes as manager as they have been encouraged by recent performances against Everton, Newcastle and Chelsea.

“West Ham United have no intention of sacking David Moyes despite dropping into the Premier League’s bottom three,” they wrote (20 February).
“The match against Forest appears make or break, however sources said the club’s ownership still fully support the manager and despite the loss to Tottenham have been encouraged by recent performances.”
Moyes out
Something has to change, and the only thing left to change is the manager at this point.
We spent the best part of £200m since the summer transfer window on nine first-team players, but none of them are performing too well and the team has gone backwards in the last 12 months.

Moyes has tried to freshen up the squad, he’s tried to use the players he knows best, he’s tried different systems and he’s tried different approaches. Nothing is working.
He has suggested that some of the players may not be up for the fight, but it is his job to get these players motivated and get us up the table and he simply can’t do it anymore.
The longer we leave it, the less time anyone else would have to save us and move us away from the relegation zone. We’re not supposed to be there, but until something changes it’s hard to see how we don’t stay there for the foreseeable.
