West Ham United goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has spoken out on the club’s summer signings and how he has been left seriously impressed by their quality.
The majority of the Hammers signings have yet to find their feet as Gianluca Scamacca, Lucas Paqueta, Emerson, Alphonse Areola, Flynn Downes and Emerson only have five starts between them.
However, Thilo Kehrer has managed to start five Premier League games under David Moyes, a positive note in an otherwise bleak first few months.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the West Ham United shot-stopper spoke highly of his new teammates but highlighted that the intense Premier League is tough to get settled in.
“The jump is quite big when you come from a different league – maybe not in terms of the way you play, but I think the intensity is much different,” said the former Arsenal and Swansea stopper.
“Some players, they just quickly transition, but in different cases you need a bit more game time. It just comes from playing a lot more games and experiencing the intensity of the league, the physicality of the league, the strength of this league.
“If you look at the players who came in this summer in training, sometimes you are amazed by the quality, I think the quality players always find a way to settle in, so we should be OK.”

Truth.
A lot of what Fabianski is saying is right, the new Hammers stars do need time to settle into life in the Premier League and they can’t all be expected to perform instantly.
Nevertheless, to do this, they all need game time and this is something that Moyes isn’t providing for them at all at the moment.
The lack of game time some of the new signings have had is worrying, to say the least, especially when you consider the sums of cash spent on them.
It’s likely more of a confidence issue at the moment, the team as a whole isn’t performing great so it’s hard to pinpoint any new signing as a complete failure just yet.
Now, the Hammers must look to Saturday evening in a must-win game against Wolves at the London Stadium, if there was ever a time for the new signings to step up, it’s then.
