ExWHUemployee has shared that his top source at West Ham United has given more information on the possible sacking of David Moyes at the London Stadium.

The Scotsman is safe for now, despite another 2-0 defeat against Brentford on Friday 30 December with the club backing him to turn it around.

The source told ExWHUemployee that there are no obvious replacements to take over from Moyes even if he was given his marching orders going into 2023.

Writing on The West Ham Way Patreon page with the latest on the situation, Ex shared what has unfolded since the latest crushing defeat last night.

“I have sent numerous messages out this morning to the various sources I have at top level and the feedback I have received is that the club back the manager,” he wrote.

“The exact quote I got from my top source was ‘We back the manager. There are no obvious replacements available. If DM was unemployed and we looked to change manager he’d be the exact person we’d bring in.”

GSBK have a huge decision to make, and it is going to be forced on them sooner rather than later if this run of form continues in the Premier League.

David Sullivan was at the London Stadium on Friday night and looked dejected as ever as spotted by Sky Sports, so he clearly isn’t happy with what he is watching at West Ham United.

With Leeds up next on Wednesday 4 January, leaving Elland Road with another defeat would surely leave them with no choice, especially with massive games against Wolves and Everton around the corner too.

The players are said to have felt unlucky against Brentford, but the truth is, they were shocking yet again, with the lack of desire one of the worst parts of all.

Something needs to change, and if transfers aren’t likely next month, the obvious decision is to change managers, with someone surely available for this huge club.
