West Ham United expect to sign Patrick Kelly before end of June

Northern Irish young midfielder Patrick Kelly is still expected to join West Ham before the end of this month, according to ExWHUemployee.

The reliable source has reported on his Patreon (23 June) that his deal has been delayed because of late movements from other clubs.

However, the Hammers are hopeful that the deal could be reached by next week at the earliest.

Get it done

Ex previously reported on 19 June that the Irons have beaten Sunderland and Manchester City to secure a deal for the Coleraine youngster.

He was expected to fly to London to complete his West Ham medical, but it seems such plans have been delayed.

The highly-talented midfielder is likely to follow in the footsteps of another prodigiously gifted talent AtCallum Marshall, who was superb for the academy last season (2021-22).

At 17, the youngster has made an impact after rising through the ranks of Northern Irish football. The Hammers feel that he is good enough to shine in England.

The fact that Manchester City have been sniffing around the player, shows the Hammers have signed a real talent.

Along with bolstering the senior squad, it is important that the club continue to bring young talents from around the world who could represent the first team in the future.

Let’s hope the club can complete his signing by the end of this month.
