West Ham United defender Aaron Cresswell expected to be available v Arsenal
West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell is expected to be available against Arsenal in the Premier League on Boxing Day (26 December), according to ExWHUemployee.
The senior left-back suffered a hamstring strain during the testimonial game against Cambridge United, and it was feared that he could miss the game.
However, the reliable Hammers source has suggested on Patreon (26 December) that Cresswell will feature against the Gunners, although the final decision still rests with David Moyes.

Injury crisis
The Hammers are 16th in the league table at the moment and Moyes is under a lot of pressure to keep his job.
The results need to improve in the second half of the season for the Irons, and they face a big test here against Arsenal who are top of the league at the moment.
Kurt Zouma is still out injured and Nayef Aguerd remains a big doubt. Maxwel Cornet has suffered another injury setback, while Gianluca Scamacca is struggling with a swollen ankle that he picked against Fulham in the mid-season friendly.

To be fair, the summer signings have largely underperformed in the first half of the season. The likes of Scamacca, Aguerd, Cornet and Lucas Paqueta need to step up now and show their worth to their manager.
West Ham expect to finish within the top half of the table, but they will have to pick up wins away from home, something they haven’t done in the first half of the season.
