West Ham United: David Moyes wants Aaron Wan-Bissaka as 'decisive' Manchester United verdict nears
David Moyes is keen for West Ham United to target Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to The Daily Mail.
The Mail report on Monday 22 May, that the 25-year-old faces a “decisive” summer at Old Trafford after coming to the fore under Erik ten Hag.
It’s believed the Hammers are keen to strengthen their backline this summer and that Moyes has identified the former Crystal Palace man as an option. The Red Devils haven’t ruled out handing Wan-Bissaka a new deal, with his current contract set to expire in 2024.
Crystal Palace are also believed to be interested in their former youngster.
Top class
Wan-Bissaka is potentially one of the best one v one defenders on the planet right now. He’s come back to the fore at Manchester United and looks like the player who cost the Red Devils £50million back in 2019. Whether West Ham can get a deal done remains to be seen.

The full-back’s stock has risen once again and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him sign a new deal at Old Trafford. With Vladimir Coufal’s future up in the air, another right-back could well be required at the London Stadium. The Manchester United ace would represent a real coup for Moyes, but a move is probably unlikely at present.
The summer transfer window is set to open, and, as we all know, the Hammers are linked with their fair share of players. Many of the rumours should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Nevertheless, it’s important for the board to strengthen once again. The domestic form has been sub-par this season and an improvement is a must heading into the 2023/24 campaign.
