David Moyes may be sacked at West Ham United before January 7th
Questions are being raised as to whether David Moyes will still be at the helm come January 7 when West Ham United face Brentford, according to The Athletic.
Moyes has enjoyed a fruitful time at the Hammers, however, his side have been domestically poor this season and are somehow staring relegation in the face.
The Athletic confessed that the arrival of eight summer signings has been a factor in the West Ham United board giving Moyes more time to turn things around.

“West Ham host Brentford this Friday in what is now a crucial Premier League game,” as quoted by The Athletic.
“It is worth remembering Brentford did the double over West Ham in 2021-22. Both teams face each other again in the third round of the FA Cup on January 7, but it remains to be seen if Moyes will remain in the dugout if the poor form persists.
“The arrival of eight summer signings has been a factor in the board giving Moyes time to turn it around. However, anything but a win against Brentford will only heighten the clamour for change.”

The clock is ticking.
Moyes’ time at the helm of West Ham United is running out and the clock is ticking on whether he’ll keep his job for the remainder of the season.
It’s a shame it’s come to this for Moyes, especially after what he has done for the team in recent seasons but it’s definitely feeling like a change of guard is needed.
The Scot has guided the Hammers as far as he can and now feels like the perfect time for a manager with a more glossy resume to come in and take the club to the next level.
Someone like Thomas Tuchel or Mauricio Pochettino would be more than ideal and are completely credible options with the pulling power the club now possesses.
It’s stick or twist time and if the Irons choose to stick, it’s likely they will become further embroiled in a relegation scrap, something no one wants to see.
Before it gets too messy, hopefully, Moyes can leave with his head held high still, it’s never nice seeing a manager leave but this one feels like it’s needed.
