West Ham United could sign both Gianluca Scamacca and Armando Broja

West Ham are continuing to talk regarding moves for both Gianluca Scamacca and Armando Broja this summer, according to the Evening Standard.

The Hammers have been in the market to sign a striker in order to bolster their attacking unit ahead of the next campaign.

For this purpose, they’ve been linked with a number of strikers including Scamacca and Broja. It was widely anticipated that the Irons will only make a move for one of them but as per the latest report, there is a possibility that the London-based club will sign both strikers in the ongoing transfer window.

Insane Attacking Depth

This is the summer in which West Ham manager David Moyes has to correct the wrongdoings of his team in Europe last season.

After the Hammers lost in the Europa League semi-finals, the former Manchester United manager lamented the lack of ruthlessness in front of the goal and the pair of forwards could remedy that.

In the 2021-22 season, Broja scored six goals in 32 Premier League appearances for Southampton.

He averaged 1.4 shots per goal and won 2.8 aerial duels and enjoyed a Premier League rating of 6.68, according to Whoscored.

Scamacca had an even better season compared to the Chelsea striker, scoring 16 goals in 36 Serie A appearances.

The 23-year-old averaged 2.2 shots per goal, and 0.7 key passes per game and enjoyed a rating of 6.82 [Whoscored].

Both strikers are immensely talented and would bring insane attacking depth to the Moyes’ team should West Ham get both of them.
