West Ham United could have second chance to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United are set to revisit Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s future in January with West Ham United still keen, according to The Athletic.

The Democratic Republic of Congo international was a late target for the Irons but Erik Ten Hag vetoed any deal at the 11th hour after the Red Devils failed to get a deal for FC Barcelona defender Sergino Dest over the line.

But while Diogo Dalot has kept a firm grasp of the right-back position at Old Trafford, the door is not closed on Wan-Bissaka just yet and the 24-year-old could get some game time in cup matches and European games.

West Ham

If he fails to impress the boss at Carrington then he could be allowed to leave in January which is where West Ham may be the leaders in the hunt to sign him.

They enquired in the summer but were rebuffed while Crystal Palace only bid a measly £10million which is far from what United value him at.

Sell Coufal

If the Hammers can make a deal happen to bring the 24-year-old to the London Stadium, it could well spell the end of Vladimir Coufal in the claret and blue.

The Czech Republic international is nearing the edge of the cliff where his performances will start to go downhill and David Moyes should be thinking about getting ahead of the decline.

West Ham

He has been very good for the most part for West Ham but you get the feeling that the best is now behind him and he isn’t going to hit the heights of his peak anymore which should be an indicator for a sale.

Wan-Bissaka has a good six or seven years at the same level of performance or even better still in him and Ben Johnson could do with a different challenger too.

It takes a lot to upset the norm at any football club but the Hammers are in danger of stagnating and this is a move they could make to stop that from happening.
