West Ham United could explore deal to sign Tiemoue Bakayoko as £120,000-a-week development emerges at Chelsea
West Ham could explore a deal to bring Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko to the club, according to ExWHUemployee.
The 28-year-old has now been released by the West London outfit, as confirmed by the official Chelsea website.
And Ex believes the Hammers could now pounce on the decision to end the player’s contract at Chelsea, where he was earning £120,000-a-week, according to the Evening Standard.

“Not a huge amount to report today at the moment,” ExWHUemployee wrote on Patreon. “Worth noting however that Tirmoue Bakayoko has been released by Chelsea.
“He is a player we have scouted before and has interest in him from Italy and France, but he could be someone we explore again.”

Fresh start
Bakayoko is one of several players to get somewhat lost in the mix at Stamford Bridge, with the player sent out on loan four different times across his six-year spell with the Blues.
Signed from Monaco in 2017, he was once among the most promising young players in Europe, but his stock has gradually fallen over the years.
West Ham could, however, take a chance on the midfielder and offer him a fresh start in the Premier League.
Bakayoko could stay in London with the transfer to the Hammers, and would definitely be given an opportunity to showcase his talents to David Moyes.
At 28, the midfielder still has a long way to go in his career, and West Ham supporters certainly won’t say no to some much-needed recruitment this summer.
His wage demands may, however, put West Ham off entirely, although it is clear that midfielders will be needed at the London Stadium next season amid the likely exit of Declan Rice.
