West Ham United concerns emerge at Millwall after new development
Millwall have growing concerns that West Ham fans have purchased tickets for their FA Cup clash against Dagenham and Redbridge on Monday, according to Mike Keegan.
Writing in the print edition of The Daily Mail Sport (13 January, page 59), Keegan says there are concerns West Ham fans have been buying tickets in the away end at The Den, with more than 1300 tickets sold.
It is said that the Met Police are aware of the situation although they have deemed the FA Cup clash as being a low-risk game on 13 January.
West Ham drama at Millwall again
Although there are concerns over potential Hammers fans going to Millwall on Monday, it is shared that Manchester United fans in the Salford City end against Manchester City and no trouble was reported which hopefully will be the same here, if it happens.
Furthermore, the Irons have their team to focus on right now after Graham Potter was appointed as Julen Lopetegui’s successor to take the side forward.
While it was an appointment that made many optimistic, an injury to Niclas Fullkrug in the new manager’s first match, highlighted just how big of a job the 49-year-old has on his hands to improve the side in the remainder of the campaign.

It will be up to the Hammers hierarchy to back their boss although utilising the loan market will be key for Potter during the January transfer window.
Nevertheless, if the East London outfit can get some good foundations in place now, there is no reason they can’t find better days again under their new boss.
