West Ham United captain Declan Rice sends message to Manchester United defender Luke Shaw
West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has sent a message to Luke Shaw to congratulate him on signing a new contract at Manchester United.
The Hammers captain is Shaw’s teammate for the Three Lions and the two appear to be friends off the pitch as well.
With it being close to 10 years since the left-back moved to Old Trafford, Rice joked about him getting a testimonial game soon.

He wrote on Instagram, “Testimonial soon? Fully deserved brother.”
Old Trafford bound?
Rice appears destined to leave the London Stadium this season and even the staunchest of West Ham fans has come to terms with that fact.
Currently, it seems like Arsenal are leading the race for him but it’s still a battle to secure the services of the 24-year-old.
However, Manchester United are also believed to be interested in signing a midfielder this summer and Rice has been their target for a while.

There’s a good chance that they finish in the top four as well so they will be able to offer him Champions League football.
The more clubs that enter the race, the better it is for West Ham as they can spark a bidding war for the England international.
He’s by far the costliest asset that they’ve had on their books and even with a year left on his deal, are likely to rake in a club-record fee from his sale.
