West Ham United can attract any manager in the world if they sack David Moyes
West Ham United can attract almost any manager in the world if they sack David Moyes, according to journalist Dean Jones.
Questions have been raised this season over whether Moyes has the capabilities to guide the Hammers to a brighter future at the London Stadium.
Jones confessed that coaches would be “very interested” in the West Ham job and the London club would be available to attract the very best should they choose to sack Moyes.
“I honestly think that West Ham could attract almost any manager in the world,” said Jones as quoted by GIVEMESPORT.
“Take away Pep Guardiola and your very, very best coaches, anyone underneath that I think will be very interested in the West Ham job the next time it comes around, there’s so much going for it.”
It’s time to evolve as a team and club and unfortunately getting rid of Moyes is part and parcel of doing this.
Jones is completely right here, the Hammers job is an extremely interesting proposition for some of Europe’s best managers at the moment.
Whoever comes in will be backed in the transfer market and already has an exciting squad to mold and nurture to their will.
There are plenty of big names that spring to mind right now who could come into the London Stadium and change the team’s fortunes.
Thomas Tuchel and Mauricio Pochettino are two names who are extremely feasible options and both would come with a massive pedigree for achieving great things.
Just look at how Unai Emery’s appointment has transformed Aston Villa, yes it’s early days still, but it’s evident what can be achieved by appointing a world-class gaffer.
Moyes likely still has some time left at the London Stadium, but it seems like the inevitability of him leaving is creeping ever closer.
