West Ham United backed to beat Bournemouth by talkSPORT pundit
West Ham United have the chance to catapult themselves up the Premier League table as they host Bournemouth on Monday (24 October).
The Irons are the last team to play over this latest match week in the top flight but have seen teams around them all pick up positive results in Leicester City, Aston Villa and Southampton.
They remain above the relegation zone thanks to Leeds’ defeat to Fulham but they could do with a win against the Cherries who will be leapfrogged by David Moyes’ side if the three points remain at the London Stadium.
And talkSPORT pundit Gabby Agbonlahor believes that will be the case as he made his prediction for the game with talkSPORT Edge via Twitter.
“West Ham win, 2-0,” Agbonlahor said. “I do like Bournemouth but I just feel like this game, they [West Ham] will have too much for Bournemouth.”
Ease the nerves
The bottom half of the Premier League is an incredibly tight affair right now as a victory for the Hammers would see them fly up to 10th in the table, ahead of Brentford on goal difference.

Bournemouth themselves could jump several places as they would join Liverpool on 16 points with a win in the capital but they won’t be favoured to do that if both sides are at their best.
You would have to assume that Moyes will go as full strength as he can now that West Ham have already secured their passage through to the knockout rounds of the Europa Conference League where he can now rest his star players.
With momentum and form now starting to come to his players after a sluggish start, Agbonlahor might have even been kind to Gary O’Neill’s Cherries with his prediction because it could get messy if the clinical edge is there.
