West Ham United aware of ‘high profile’ options as David Moyes contract update drops
West Ham are aware of a number of high-profile managers interested in taking over from David Moyes after talks have been delayed over the offer of a new contract, according to The Telegraph.
The newspaper shared via its website on 12 February that the position at the London Stadium is considered one of the most attractive in the Premier League.
However, the newspaper shared that despite an “alarming” collapse in the Hammers’ form, the expectation remains that Moyes will remain at the club, although his negotiating position has taken a knock.
David Moyes could be replaced at West Ham
Following a string of poor results that peaked on Sunday with the 6-0 defeat to Arsenal at the London Stadium, the stance surrounding the future of Moyes has been thrown into confusion.
Where it was initially suggested that he would sign a new deal, after Moyes confirmed talks would resume following the end of the transfer window, delays to those talks have now made his position uncertain.
The Hammers are still yet to win a Premier League game in 2024 and were knocked out of the FA Cup by Championship outfit Bristol City, leading to renewed calls from some for Moyes to be replaced.
While there has been no mention of sacking Moyes immediately, should results continue as they are the club could find themselves with a difficult decision to make.

As it stands, he is still in the job and it is expected that he will sign a new deal, but things look like they could change very quickly if West Ham don’t find their form soon.
In other West Ham news, Simon Stone shared a “huge” update on Moyes’ position.
