West Ham United: Ally McCoist namedrops Arsenal and Manchester United in Declan Rice transfer verdict
Ally McCoist has shared a new transfer verdict on West Ham star Declan Rice live on talkSPORT.
The midfielder looks certain to leave the Hammers in the upcoming summer transfer window, with McCoist naming Arsenal as a likely destination over Manchester United.
He could lift a major trophy in what is potentially his final match for the club when they meet Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final on Wednesday (7 June).

“It’s a funny one, because over the weekend and over the season, if I’m Declan Rice and I’m weighing up my options, I am probably thinking I’d rather go to Arsenal than Manchester United,” McCoist said live on talkSPORT.
“I looked at Manchester United at the weekend, and I know they’ve won the League Cup, but they will look as though they’ve got, I don’t know, four or five players behind Manchester City.
“I still think Arsenal are well behind Manchester City, but I think they’ve got the potential to get nearer to them quicker.”

Summer battle incoming
Nobody is quite sure where Rice will be playing his football next season, with the West Ham star constantly attracting the attention of the media regarding his future.
It remains up in the air, but one certainty is that wherever he goes, he will improve his new club and his new teammates.
The battle for his services will be an intense one this summer, with the midfielder proving his ability on and off the ball with countless important runs, passes and tackles over the years.
He has even now added goals to his game, a feat which will definitely help the Hammers push his price tag up to the very maximum.
Arsenal could definitely do with his services having just fallen short of Premier League winners Manchester City, while Manchester United wouldn’t say no to Rice as they look to fight on all fronts next season under Erik ten Hag.
