West Ham United ace Tomas Soucek faces uncertain future, cash in price mooted
West Ham United could be set to cash in on midfielder Tomas Soucek as uncertainty clouds over his place at the club, according to Claret and Hugh.
The Czech Republic international has been an almost ever-present in David Moyes’ side ever since he arrived at the London Stadium in January of 2020 initially on loan before a £19million move the following summer.
But despite holding down a midfield spot alongside Declan Rice all season, there is uncertainty within Rush Green that his position is secured and Moyes has got a list of midfielders he is ready to pursue should the 27-year-old leave.

There has been problems in discussing a new deal for Soucek which has sparked rumours of his exit and Claret and Hugh believe he could leave for just £25million if such an offer is submitted.
The Hammers had been holding out for close to £40million but that sum now looks unlikely to be the figure he goes for if he indeed goes at all.
His decision
If we have put an offer in front of him, it is now all on him to decide if he wants to commit to West Ham or leave for the chance to play elsewhere.
We have the financial clout to go and sign a more than adequate replacement for Soucek should he decide he no longer wants to play for us so his loss won’t be felt all that much here.

But all of that is irrelevant until an official bid comes in for the Czech Republic international and we would be bonkers not to accept an offer of £25million or more no matter who makes it.
He has probably earned the chance to try and prove himself in the Champions League and that is not something we can offer right now but he still needs a club of that calibre to be interested in him.
Now the waiting game begins and we’ll see who fancies a piece of the Soucek pie.
