West Ham transfer news as Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun preference shared amid Monaco links
Arsenal striker wants to move to a Premier League club over joining a French side amid links to West Ham and Monaco, according to the Independent.
The English media outlet wrote on its website on Wednesday (9 August) that staying put in England is the preferable option for the 22-year-old.
The Gunners are understood to be wanting over £40million to sell the United States international – a fee that the Hammers are willing to pay.

He struggled at the London Stadium and rather than staying another year and fighting to become a top Premier League striker, he chose to join Atalanta.
Balogun is someone who’s been on the Hammers’ radar for a while and perhaps they had him as a backup option in case the Italian ever left.
At 22, he’s at the ideal age to play regularly and take his game to the next level – something that can happen at West Ham.
His performances in France proved that he can do a good job but it’s obviously a different ball game in the English top flight.
He is a full international now and does seem to have what it takes to lead the line on a regular basis.
