West Ham talks for defender hotting up on Monday – ExWHUEmployee
West Ham United talks for a new centre-back are expected to hot up seriously on Monday, according to ExWHUemployee.
The Irons have made a new defender their priority and have identified Kurt Zouma and Nikola Milenkovic as two options.
It is reported that talks will continue today and that other options have now been identified for the worst-case scenario.

Writing on the West Ham Way Patreon, Ex shared the update as we head into another week with no real progress made.
“The priority seems to be on centre back and as I reported the two main choices appear to be Zouma and Milenkovic,” he wrote.
“Talks will continue on Monday and there are a couple of other targets who could be spoken to if Zouma or Milenkovic do not happen.
“I expect centre back talks to hot up.”

Needed.
In true West Ham fashion, nothing is going to be simple.
We have already dragged out our priority signing into a second week, and don’t appear to be anywhere near bringing in a defender.
There was excitement surrounding a potential deal for Zouma, who was said to welcome a move to the London Stadium, but that looks more unlikely as each day passes.
Dharmesh Sheth reported yesterday that a move for the Frenchman is proving tough due to the fee and his wages, the main two parts of any transfer.
There is money to spend, Ex has already told us that, so where is it?
It is time to cough up the cash and get this deal done, or we could enter the season with Issa Diop and Craig Dawson as our only two fit senior defenders.
