West Ham still pushing for Kurt Zouma deal – Jacob Steinberg
West Ham United are still pushing to sign Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma this summer, according to Jacob Steinburg.
The Guardian journalist shared the news after talks with Fiorentina over Nikola Milenkovic collapsed last week.
It is suggested that the deal would still take £25million and that the wage demands of the Frenchman are very high.

Writing on his personal Twitter account late on Monday, Steinburg shared the major update as things appeared to have gone quiet.
“West Ham still not given up on Kurt Zouma,” he wrote.
“But Chelsea are asking for £25m and his wage demands are high. Selling Zouma helps Chelsea’s pursuit of Jules Kounde – they need to shift a centre-back.”
Get it done.
We are all fed up with these rumours disappearing and then coming back.
Either the Irons pay the money to get this done, or they watch another one walk away with the potential of nobody coming in.
David Moyes is desperate for a new defender before the end of August, and at the rate, this one is moving at, it would be no surprise to see nothing happen.
GSB spending £25million is highly unlikely, despite the funds certainly being there to play with.
Finishing in the Europa League and not using the money collected for selling Sebastien Haller means it is there to spend, time to get it done.
