West Ham star Declan Rice praised by Toby Cudworth
West Ham star Declan Rice has been praised by Toby Cudworth on his Twitter account.
The 90min journalist asked if the 22-year-old ever stops running and highlights four key things that Rice has achieved recently and still seems to have more to give.
On Thursday, the West Ham captain scored his first-ever European goal against Dinamo Zagreb, which led Cudworth to heap praise on Rice.
Rice just keeps going.
In his tweet, Cudworth highlights the fact that the Hammers star played every game for England in the Euros and has followed that up by playing in all four Premier League games this season.
Rice also played twice for the Three Lions in the international break and then was fantastic against Zagreb.
The 22-year-old has been described as “outstanding” by Gareth Southgate recently and just seems to be getting better and better [West Ham’s official website].
We had expected David Moyes to give him a rest against Zagreb, but Rice has a serious engine on him, and he dominated the match from the centre of the park.
This was a classy display from Rice, and it looks as if he could play every game for both club and country this season, which would be an impressive achievement.
Rice continues to improve game by game, and the sky looks to be the limit for the England international.
