West Ham star Declan Rice is the priority target for Manchester United next summer

West Ham star Declan Rice is seen as the missing piece of Manchester United’s team, according to The Independent.

They claim that meetings took place in the last summer transfer window in which Ole Gunnar Solskjaer identified who he wants to play as his number six.

The 22-year-old Irons man came out on top in various attributes, and he is now “top priority” next summer.

Rice to Old Trafford?

The West Ham star has continued to improve game by game, and if he keeps playing how he is, then by the end of the season, you would think he would be even more in demand than he already is.

Rice has proven time and time again that he is arguably the best defensive midfielder in the league.

However, if the Red Devils see him as a top target, then could we finally see a massive bid come in for Rice?

Remember, he has been described as “fantastic” by Gareth Southgate and is a player who is only going to get better [West Ham’s official website].

However, for now, he is an Irons player, and until any club matches the club’s price tag, that will remain the case.
