West Ham set for new rounds of contract talks with Declan Rice
West Ham are reportedly set for a new round of negotiations over the extension of Declan Rice’s deal at the club.
According to Claret and Hugh, talks with the 23-year-old are due and they are expected to commence.
The England international has been linked with a move away from the club amid interest from Champions League sides.
Clarity needed
If Rice is planning to stay beyond the season, then he must make his point clear to the club and the manager.
If his decision hinges on a few things, it’s time he tells them about it right away.

Knowing the Hammers hierarchy, they take ages to even get the simplest of things done.
Hopefully, Rice forces them into making some big signings in the summer and also offering a new deal to Jarrod Bowen.
The Englishman, along with Rice, is the most important player for the club and they must be retained at all costs.
Should Rice hand in a request, we do not see the club coming in his way.
They will name their asking price and compel one of the big sharks in England to pay up.
It would be disastrous for Hammers fans to see him leave, but they know that the club is run as a business and these decisions need to be made.
