West Ham send passionate message to Declan Rice ahead of Euro 2020 final
West Ham have sent Declan Rice a message on their official Twitter account ahead of England’s clash with Italy at Wembley for the final of Euro 2020.
The tweet contains a montage of Rice pictures and states that the Hammers are “so proud” of the 22-year-old and that he should “enjoy the moment and bring it home”.
This is a powerful message from the club, and it indicates that the Hammers and everyone connected with the club are fully behind Rice as he and the Three Lions look to win the European Championships for the first time.
Powerful message
Rice has been a symbol of this England side as he has formed a brilliant partnership with Kalvin Phillips in the centre of midfield and played in every game so far.
This will be Rice’s 22nd cap for the Three Lions, and since he made his debut for England, he hasn’t looked back and is probably one of the first names on the teamsheet now [the Telegraph].

The 22-year-old had a stellar campaign for West Ham, and without him in their side due to injury, they lost a lot of momentum towards the end of the season.
He returned on the final day and grabbed a goal during the Irons’ 3-0 drubbing of Southampton to ensure West Ham finished sixth, and he has carried his form from the 2020/21 Premier League season into the Euros, and he has been superb.
This is a great message from the Hammers, and it is great to see they are proud of Rice no matter what happens tonight.
