West Ham relegation chances shift dramatically in supercomputer prediction after Leeds defeat
West Ham are in turmoil this season, and their defeat on Friday night exposed it further.
It would be wrong to say that West Ham suffered a defeat to Leeds on Friday, because the only people who suffered were the supporters watching yet another disastrous display from the Hammers.
Aside from Lucas Paqueta, who was average at best, every single Irons star looked out of their depth at Elland Road.
The result leaves West Ham 19th in the Premier League, with four points from nine games, and relegation is looking like a real possibility.

Nuno Santo faces near-impossible task of keeping West Ham up
Wolves host Burnley on Sunday afternoon, and if they can secure their first three points of the season, it will see West Ham move to the bottom of the Premier League.
The fall off at the London Stadium over the last few years has been devastating, and despite relegation being a mere thought in the back of people’s minds last season, it is the concern that is haunting the Hammers this campaign.
After West Ham’s defeat to Brentford, the Hammers had been presented with a 50.89 per cent chance of relegation, and after their defeat to Leeds, they have incrased signficantly.
Via Opta, the Hammers are now predicted to finish 19th, with a worrying 63.98 per cent chance of dropping down into the Championship.
Nuno’s side is anticipated to finish with 32 points, which would be their worst tally since 1978, when they suffered their first relegation in 20 years.

What did Nuno Santo say after West Ham defeat
This downfall isn’t on Nuno, and to some extent, it isn’t on Graham Potter.
The mould has been setting at the London Stadium for a few seasons now, and it is only just starting to take hold of them by the scruff of the neck.
With that said, it is Nuno who is tasked with getting the most disjointed team in the Premier League back to winning games, and he was not happy after the latest defeat.
As quoted by the Standard, he said: “We didn’t deal with the problems. We didn’t deal with many things. We have to work hard and be much better. I feel the players want to, but they switch off in many moments.”
“Now is the moment for sadness. Let’s keep on going. We need the fans since we arrive, it’s up to us. We need to give them something to deserve that support.”
West Ham fans are fed up with their downfall, and rightfully so.
