West Ham open to offers for Arthur Masuaku in summer – report
West Ham are hoping to offload out of favour defender Arthur Masuaku in the summer, according to reports by Claret & Hugh.
The Congolese international’s contract doesn’t expire until 2024 but the Hammers are keen on freeing up some space on their wage bill for new arrivals with the left-back currently on £50,000 per week.
Ideally, the Irons would secure a permanent move for the 28-year-old, but they are open to a loan deal if necessary.

West Ham value their man at around £5million and are ready to listen to offers.
Finally
Masuaku has popped up with some great performances for the Hammers throughout his time at the club. He has been a brilliant player, but the club has surpassed him in recent seasons.
He was one of the players who shined under Manuel Pellegrini during his spell at the club which earned him his contract that expires in 2024.
That tells you everything you need to know. The club couldn’t be further away from where they were under the Argentine in terms of the quality of the squad and the team’s targets.

They are now pushing for Champions League football, Europa League finals and top four but Masuaku was a regular in the team when fighting relegation.
Make no mistake, he is a player with great quality, and he has done brilliantly when called upon for the Hammers but he is no longer good enough and the club must sell him.
The money they would save on his wages and earn from his transfer fee would aid the Irons in bringing in new players in the summer.
Masuaku isn’t the only player at threat; Moyes must cut all of the deadwood from this squad and replace them with top quality players that will strengthen the squad for next season.
