West Ham ‘not planning’ on permanent deal for Alex Kral – report
West Ham have decided not to make Spartak Moscow midfielder Alex Kral’s loan deal at the club permanent, according to Foot Mercato.
The 23-year-old has failed to make an impact with the Hammers having featured just once in the Premier League which saw him play one minute in a 4-1 victory against Watford.
French side Montpellier are said to be interested in the Czech Republic international with it being unlikely Kral will return to Russia amid the current conflict.

The Irons are “not planning” to exercise the clause included in the midfielder’s loan deal that could see him in east London on a permanent basis.
Oh well
It has never really worked out for the Czech midfielder at West Ham unfortunately.
He was tipped to be a really exciting player when first making the move from Russia before the start of this season, but he hasn’t been able to showcase his talent how he would have wanted to.
All players take some time to adjust to a new team, country and way of living and there aren’t many tougher adjustments to make then joining the toughest league in the world in the Premier League.

Kral did have fellow international teammates Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal to help with his transition but it was the on-field action that was the real hindrance in his Hammers career.
When he played, he simply didn’t show enough for David Moyes to want to start him again which left him very much a cup alternative. Hopefully he fares better at his next club after spending much of his time in London watching on.
