West Ham next manager major update emerges as Graham Potter pressure grows
Graham Potter’s position as West Ham manager continues to be under real threat as possible replacements emerge.
Potter is facing the sack at the London Stadium, following the Hammers’ poor start to the season.
West Ham’s 3-0 loss at home to Tottenham last weekend heaped misery on Potter, whose side are currently in the relegation zone.
West Ham fans are clearly frustrated with the current results, with supporters leaving the ground in droves on Saturday evening.
Potter may not be long for the dugout with replacements reportedly already being sounded out.

West Ham have five-man managerial shortlist to replace Graham Potter
David Sullivan has reportedly drafted a shortlist of potential managers to come in if Potter is sacked.
Speaking on Sky Sports News, Miguel Delaney revealed five names are being considered, with a former West Ham midfielder, Gary O’Neil, amongst the candidates.
He said: “From what I’m told, the shortlist has five names, including O’Neil, who is a good fit.”
O’Neil is a free agent, having been sacked by Wolves last season, so no compensation would need to be paid to bring him in.
He also knows the club, having spent three seasons at Upton Park between 2011 and 2013.
Slaven Bilic is also in contention, with the ex-West Ham boss thought to be keen on a reunion in East London.

Gary O’Neil would be a good appointment for West Ham
West Ham would be wise to consider appointing someone like O’Neil as manager.
The Englishman is a young and highly thought of manager who has an established playing style and proven Premier League experience.
- Gary O’Neil made 56 appearances at West Ham across three seasons
 - He was appointed Bournemouth manager in August 2022
 - O’Neil was last in charge of Wolves, winning 20 of his 63 games at the helm.

Fans at the London Stadium would be delighted to see someone of O’Neil’s character be brought in, having been frustrated under Potter’s tenure.
The 42-year-old would be a breath of fresh air for a West Ham squad who are in desperate need of guidance with another poor season on the cards.
