West Ham must hijack deal for midfielder Boubacar Kamara
Atletico Madrid are close to signing Boubacar Kamara and West Ham must hijack the deal for him.
According to a recent report from Goal, a host of clubs are vying for his signature but the La Liga giants are thought to be leading the race.
The Hammers were linked with a move for the 22-year-old midfielder during the January window [Corriere Dello Sport] and they have held talks already over a potential switch.

According to The Sun, the likes of Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Manchester United are also in the race, but the Hammers must not miss out on him.
Cost
For a player of his talent, getting him on a free transfer is a dream. While he would demand a lucrative wage package, surely the club make an exception for a top-class talent like him.

Style
He is a defensive midfielder, and that is one position David Moyes needs to bolster. He is a combative midfielder who is technically gifted.
Defensive midfield is a specialised position. He will not only fill the hole left by Mark Noble, but his presence will help the likes of Declan Rice or Tomas Soucek to join the attack more freely.
Attributes
He is known for his strong tackling. He makes on average 1.8 tackles per game, as per Who Scored. He is equally good with blocks and is a brilliant passer of the ball.
Kamara manages almost 3 long passes per game, that shows his wide passing from deep midfield. Clearly, he will add an extra dimension in the middle of the park. Signing him is a no brainer.
In other West Ham news, this “brilliant” Hammers squad player could leave the club for just £1million according to the latest reports.
