West Ham moot over offering contract to Brentford ace Christian Eriksen

West Ham are reportedly considering whether or not to offer a contract to Brentford ace Christian Eriksen this summer.

According to 90Min, the Denmark international is on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs after his miraculous comeback.

The likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle and Everton are believed to be circling around the 30-year-old.

He only signed a six-month deal at the Brentford Community Stadium so he’s set to be a free agent at the end of the season.

At the West London club, he will not be offered European football and instead will be fighting a relegation battle next season.

There’s a good chance that the Hammers will give him that next term and if they win the Europa League, Eriksen may play in the Champions League as well.

At Spurs, he may not be a regular, but at West Ham, David Moyes could build his entire team around him.

We saw how Moyes took Jesse Lingard’s game to the next level last season and there’s no reason why he can’t do the same with the Dane.

It remains to be seen if he does want to leave Brentford or if he’s found a comfort zone there and will play another year under Thomas Frank who has labelled him “incredible“.

In other West Ham news, the Hammers have scouted a £20m-rated ‘Dangerous’ British striker and want to seal a permanent move this summer.
