West Ham looking for offers to sell Darren Randolph

West Ham are looking at offers for goalkeeper Darren Randolph, according to a report from Claret and Hugh.

The 34-year-old goalkeeper has dropped down the pecking order at the club behind Lukasz Fabianski and Alphonse Areola.

Randolph is valued at a bargain price of about around £1 million.

Needs to leave

During the January transfer window, Randolph was heavily linked with a move to Aston Villa [Sami Mokbel, Daily Mail].

However, David Moyes refused to sell him on loan, and the Hammers eventually pulled the plug on the deal.

Randolph, who was hailed as “brilliant” last season by Vladimir Coufal [whufc, May 20], has only a year left on his contract and West Ham are looking to sell him permanently.

He has got loads of experience but the move to the London club didn’t work for him. He has featured in only three Premier League games since joining from Middlesbrough in 2020.

The Hammers are likely to keep Areola with them. According to a report from Jeunes Footeux, the Hammers are looking at another loan move for the goalkeeper.

The Hammers want to avoid the £10.8 m clause included in his current loan deal, and Paris Saint-Germain could allow them to take him for another year on a temporary deal.

Moreover, the Hammers are looking to get rid of some of the fringe players to make space in their wage bill.

Therefore, it is unlikely that Randolph will stay at the club beyond the summer.
