West Ham keep track of Sven Botman, matches what David Moyes needs
West Ham United are keeping their eyes on LOSC Lille defender Sven Botman with a summer move not off the cards, according to the Evening Standard.
The 22-year-old Dutch centre-half has also attracted the interest of Newcastle United and AC Milan having helped the French club to a shock Ligue 1 title win last season.
This isn’t the first attempted foray into France David Moyes has made this season having tried to sign Duje Caleta-Car in January and the Evening Standard believe that they could go back in for the Croatian in the summer.

Botman would slot nicely alongside Kurt Zouma in the Irons defence being a left-sided defender primarily which is a big draw that the Scot is watching closely.
West Ham’s success in qualifying for either the Champions League or Europa League may play a large part in their negotiations and the manager has already discussed those intentions with the board.
He’s the one
A lot of defenders have been mentioned as part of the Hammers’ shortlist but Botman is the one who is head and shoulders above the rest.
Already a league winner in France, and against the might of PSG too, and only 22 years of age.

Dominant in the air, comfortable bringing the ball out of defence and an ability to read the game ahead of anybody else.
Moyes could not come up with a fantasy left-sided central defender if he tried and one has presented himself as a viable option.
It’s a little bit surprising more teams haven’t tried to prize him away from Lille after starring in their title-winning campaign at such a tender age.
Whoever else might be on the list of defenders at the London Stadium, toss them out of the window and go all-in on the Dutchman because he is the real deal.
In other West Ham news, Moyes has reportedly given up hope in keeping this Irons player beyond the end of this season.
