West Ham have second-best injury record in Premier League

West Ham are the second-best record compared to the other Premier League teams compared to the days players have missed due to injury this season.

The Hammers have just had six reported injury incidents this season with players missing only a total of 62 days.

In comparison, Everton, who are the worst have seen their players miss 412 days combined, which is staggering and goes some way towards explaining their downfall in form.

Injury expert Ben Dinnery, shared, via his Twitter account, “In terms of reported injury incidence this season, West Ham
(6) are among the lowest in the Premier League having amassed a total of 62 days out (2nd lowest) up to and including GW11.”

This will be incredible news for the Hammers faithful as, over the course of the last few seasons, they have seen their sides plagued with injuries.

However, this season, lady has luck has smiled upon the Hammers side and will have delighted the supporters.

David Moyes has got the opportunity to select an unchanged squad on most occasions this season – which is a luxury that every manager in the league would want.

It’s no surprise that West Ham being high in the injury table has also seen them scale the Premier League standings.

The club seem to be in an ideal spot to finish in the top six this term and could even push for Champions League qualification.

With the squad and manager they have at their disposal, nothing is beyond reach for them.
