West Ham fans pile pressure on David Sullivan with demonstration planned vs Crystal Palace

West Ham fans will continue to show their frustrations at the way the club is being run with a protest against the club’s ownership mapped out.

David Sullivan is under pressure to step down as West Ham chairman after the failure of the transfer window.

Frustration with the owners wasn’t alleviated when Karren Brady explained West Ham’s transfer business in August, and things have gotten more sour since the start of the season.

Hammers supporters showed their frustrations when thousands left the London Stadium after conceding their third in the 3-0 defeat to Tottenham.

West Ham fans plan static protest before game vs Crystal Palace

Graham Potter is under increasing pressure at West Ham after a run of one win in five games.

The former Chelsea boss has failed to address key concerns this season, with the Hammers conceding six goals from corners – three more than any other Premier League side.

Experienced manager Sean Dyche has been lined up by West Ham as a possible replacement, with Potter at risk of being sacked should the Hammers lose against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Roles at West Ham:

However, supporters are wondering whether the hierarchy’s actions are all smoke and mirrors to divert attention from planned protests.

The static protest aims to line the route along Marshgate Lane from Pudding Mill Lane station down to the directors’ entrance to the London Stadium from 12.45pm until 2.15pm prior to the game against Palace.

West Ham protests could intensify after Crystal Palace game

West Ham’s actions in recent weeks have only intensified the unrest among supporters.

The response to the fan advisory board’s letter of no confidence failed to address multiple issues, and fans feel like they aren’t being listened to.

A heavy defeat to Crystal Palace could see demonstrations against Sullivan intensify over the coming weeks, with big games against Everton and Arsenal ahead.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see the stands at the London Stadium get more and more empty in the coming weeks, and a full boycott could happen.
