West Ham fans make point loud and clear as BBC reporter shares full extent of protest march

West Ham supporters have turned out in droves to protest against the ownership.

Fans are protesting the way that David Sullivan and Karren Brady are running their beloved club, as they are involved in a relegation battle once again.

West Ham fans have already held protests, with a notable boycott of the 2-0 loss to Brentford and a sit-in protest after the 3-1 win over Newcastle last time out.

They made their point loud and clear ahead of the Premier League clash with Burnley at the London Stadium on 8 November.

West Ham fans make a statement with pre-Burnley protest

Sullivan must take notice of how the West Ham fans feel, especially after the staggering number of supporters who made their thoughts clear.

BBC reporter Chris Wise revealed that he has been informed that approximately 10,000 were part of the protest march before kick-off.

Speaking on 8 November, he said: “We’ve been told that around 10,000 West Ham fans took part in a planned protest march ahead of kick-off here.

“It’s another loud statement from the Hammers supporters to the club’s board. They want Chairman David Sullivan, and vice-chair Karren Brady to step down.”

Why West Ham fans will ultimately get what they want

The Hammers fans want Sullivan and Brady to leave their positions, and if they continue their protests, then surely they will get what they want.

The duo have got it all wrong recently since the 2023 Europa Conference League win, as the Hammers have only gone backwards in that time.

It was expected to be a turning point, with the Irons becoming a top-half team and primed to qualify for Europe regularly, but they dismissed David Moyes, due to his concerns over his style of play.

The appointments of Julen Lopetegui and Graham Potter have not worked out, and dismal transfer planning, particularly under Sullivan, has seen the E20 outfit fall down the table.

Supporters will eventually get their wish, if they keep up the action, as Tottenham supporters were consistent in their protests against Daniel Levy, and he left his post in September.

The fanbase needs to stay united and force the club to take action in the end, like their London rivals did earlier this year.
