West Ham

Collosous.

Zouma can be an absolute colossus when he wants to be and he proved this yet again in the Hammers’ 2-0 win last night in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Numerous times throughout the game Zouma headed clear with ease, using his menacing height to silence the AEK forwards to perfect effect.

So it’s no surprise that he is top of the aerial stats in the Premier League as Romano has highlighted and it’s a testament to just how good of a defender he is.

His importance to this West Ham team was shown maybe more in his absence this season due to injury, something that has definitely affected the squad’s campaign.

Nevertheless, it looks like Zouma is back to his best after last night’s outing and his experience and utter class will be needed during this tough relegation scrap.

Aston Villa are up next for West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday 12 March and nothing less than three points is a must for David Moyes and his side moving forward.
