West Ham eye summer move for Jonathan Bamba – report
West Ham are eyeing a move for winger Jonathan Bamba from Lille in the summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The 25-year-old Frenchman is out of contract in 2023, giving Lille only two remaining windows to earn some money for the player.
However, the £16.6million rated attacker has failed to register a goal all season in Ligue 1, only managing three assists in that time.

Atalanta, Sevilla and Bayer Leverkusen are among the other clubs also interested in Bamba.
Desperate?
West Ham fans should ignore his stats this season. It is difficult to pin his dip in form on one thing, but it is likely the Frenchman is in need of a new challenge after spending his whole career in France other than a one-year loan spell in Belgium.
His goal contribution last year was a lot better though which is a positive sign, the winger had a hand in 17 goals in the league last season which proves he is more than capable of producing the numbers.

David Moyes and co definitely shouldn’t rush into this one though, it does seem a little bit desperate after the mood around the club turned slightly sour following no new arrivals in January.
The Scot has continuously spoken against bringing bodies in for the sake of it so surely this isn’t a case of that. If Moyes is happy the player can come in and play a part within the squad then so am I.
What he has achieved with the team this season has earned him that little bit of trust from the fans.
