West Ham United eye January move for Brugge attacker Noa Lang

West Ham are reportedly eyeing a move for Club Brugge attacker Noa Lang, who has also previously been linked with Premier League rivals Leeds United.

According to Italian media outlet Calciomercato, along with the Hammers, both AC Milan and Atletico Madrid are also keeping tabs on the Netherlands international.

It is understood that the Hammers were also keen on him in the summer with Leeds being labelled as long-term admirers of the 23-year-old.

Elite signing

Lang is sort of the signing that could elevate the mood around the London Stadium even during the best of times.

He has been widely recognised as one of the best young attackers in Europe and his ability to play all across the front three makes him a player worth having in the team.

Jarrod Bowen is very much a player in demand and he could look to leave if the right offer and club come knocking at his door.

Even the West Ham hierarchy may find it hard to turn down a club-record bid closer to nine figures as that’s roughly where they value the Englishman.

Having backup options would never hurt anyone and if they do have the money to sign Lang regardless of Bowen’s future, it’s one we would recommend as he’s got the penchant for scoring “magnificent” goals.

This may mean cashing in on Said Benrahma who’s struggled for consistency at the club but it’s an option that few in east London would turn down if they’re getting the Dutch attacker in return.
