West Ham early team news v Bournemouth – Potter provides update on Kudus
Graham Potter has provided an update on his team’s availability at West Ham prior to their encounter with Bournemouth.
West Ham are back in Premier League action this weekend, with an encounter against Bournemouth at the London Stadium.
The Irons are winless in their last three, with the latest 1-0 defeat away to Wolves providing several concerns.
With little left to play, West Ham need to find that motivation to improve and find some consistency, with Potter providing an update on the availability of his team ahead of the clash with the Cherries.

Potter provides Mohammed Kudus update at West Ham
West Ham are the perceived underdogs for their clash with Bournemouth, and based on their showing against Wolves, it won’t come as much of a surprise.
Premier League | W | D | L | P |
West Ham | 9 | 17 | 14 | 34 |
Their performance will need to improve massively from the one at Molinuex, though Jean-Clair Todibo could return to the squadhaving “felt a lot better” in training, according to Potter, providing the Hammers with a much-needed boost.
Mohammed Kudus is also in with a chance of making the clash, having missed out at Molineux. His absence was explained to be because of a hip injury, or rather described as “fatigue” by Potter when addressing the press.
Emerson suffered a knock in his last outing, but again, is likely to make the team against Bournemouth.
Aside from the other long-term injuries at the London Stadium, West Ham have no other fresh injury concerns, leaving them with little excuse not to perform against the Cherries.
West Ham need to win v Bournemouth
Although there is nothing to play for, form is still vital ahead of the final eight games of the Premier League campaign.
West Ham need to give a good account of themselves and enter the new season with as much momentum as they possibly can, with Potter being aware of the areas in which they need to strengthen or change to be successful.
While he has only been in charge for a few months, concerns have already emerged over Potter’s ability to get West Ham attacking effectively, and that is something that will need to be addressed ahead of their clash with Bournemouth.
