West Ham defender Kurt Zouma spotted outside Thames Magistrates Court
West Ham defender Kurt Zouma was mobbed by paparazzi ahead of his appearance at the Thames Magistrates Court.
According to the Daily Mail, the Frenchman was charged with three offences under the Animal Welfare Act after ‘kicking and slapping his pet cat’ while his brother is charged with two for filming him.
The Athletic’s Roshane Thomas spotted Zouma outside the court on Tuesday morning and a bunch of camera persons were in his face trying to grab exclusive pictures before he entered.
Via his personal Twitter account, Thomas wrote, “Kurt Zouma has arrived at Thames Magistrates Court.”
What Zouma did was unacceptable and he will pay the price for it.
However, the press need to take a step back and not hound the player like that ahead of what is a big day for him.
The Frenchman never thought that he would appear in court so it must be a tough time for him as well.
We’re interested to see how this hearing transpires and what penalty the Frenchman is handed for his acts earlier in 2021.
His brother was not spotted in the video so he could either be given a different date or had already gone in before the West Ham defender.
Per the Mail report, Zouma is expected to enter his plea this morning.
