West Ham could be without Pablo Fornals v Crystal Palace

West Ham will travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in their Premier League clash on Saturday.

David Moyes’ side could be without Pablo Fornals once again for the clash after the Spaniard missed the previous game against Watford due to Covid.

According to the club official website, Fornals’ “situation remains volatile” with Moyes failing to provide any significant update.

Unlikely to take risk

Moyes is unlikely to take a risk with the Spaniard for this tie, although he will be severely missed.

The 25-year-old has been in brilliant form this season, with James Collins recently (21 December) hailing him as “unbelievable”.

He has already made 27 appearances for the Hammers in all competitions and has chipped in with four goals and two assists.

Meanwhile, Moyes will be pleased to welcome vice-captain Declan Rice who missed the previous game due to a one-match suspension through an accumulation of yellow cards.

West Ham

Rice – should he feature – will make his 150th appearance for the club. The 22-year-old would become the 17th player for the club to achieve that milestone.

West Ham could be without Aaron Cresswell for this game through injury, while Angelo Ogbonna and Kurt Zouma remain long-term absentees.

The Hammers will head into this tie with loads of confidence after returning to winning ways against Watford, but Palace are in good form as well. It should be a fascinating contest.
