West Ham confirmed XI v Burnley: Mark Noble dropped
As expected, David Moyes rings in wholesale changes to his West Ham side that faces Burnley later today (December 12) in the Premier League.
The Europa League clash in mid-week was a dead rubber, which gave the Scotsman plenty of room to chop and change this squad.
However, this eleven has the feels of a Premier League side, and Mark Noble, who was excellent in mid-week, has been dropped to the bench.
Burnley have proven to be a bogey team for many of the in-form teams and West Ham must avoid playing the game on the Clarets’ terms.
Sean Dyche’s men are going to be abrasive and in the Hammers’ face and it’s important for them not to be caught into their petty physical battles.
The Hammers have a blistering array of attacking players and must maximise most of the talent they have at their disposal.
With Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogbonna injured, it’s time Issa Diop and Craig Dawson rise up to the occasion and become the Irons’ go to centre-back option.
Apart from that, it’s hard to identify a weakness in this side that is so well coached by Moyes.
The onus is now on the Hammers players to go out and deliver a fantastic performance and secure three points.
In other West Ham news, the club have made contact to sign an int’l striker & a £17m January move is now on the cards
