West Ham concerned over Kurt Zouma’s injury as scan planned for Sunday
West Ham insiders are concerned over Kurt Zouma’s injury with the Frenchman set to undergo scans today rather than tomorrow, according to Claret and Hugh.
The Hammers will carry out checks on the France international centre-back and Ben Johnson on Sunday (5 December), and while the full-back could keep be out for up to a month, there are fears it could be worse for Zouma.
Nothing has been determined yet, but the Frenchman hearing a pop in his knee has given cause for concern after the nasty knee injury he picked up at Chelsea in 2016.

Worry?
West Ham had concerns over an existing knee injury when Zouma underwent his medical ahead of his summer move, and the club will be hoping their worst fears do not come to pass.
He was ruled out for around six months at the time after scans revealed he had damaged the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, and David Moyes cannot afford to be without such a player right now.
Angelo Ogbonna is already out of the season following an injury to his ACL, and a similar injury could see Zouma miss weeks of action.
The Irons have Craig Dawson and Issa Diop as centre-back options if the Frenchman is unavailable, but that is not determined yet.

Moyes would be forced to make defensive signings in January if Zouma is set to spend time on the injury sidelines, and that could be a big blow for a campaign that has gone very well so far.
West Ham are currently fourth in the Premier League after 15 games and are in the knockout stages of the Europa League.
They face Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup quarterfinals and will also look to impress in the FA Cup, so they need their top players available during the second half of the season.
