West Ham boss David Moyes shares latest injury update on key duo
David Moyes has provided the latest injury update on West Ham duo Vladimir Coufal and Jarrod Bowen ahead of the Hammers’ Premier League clash against Everton on Sunday [April 3].
The pair have been back in training over the international break having recovered from their respective injuries, but David Moyes remains uncertain whether they are fit enough to feature against the Blues.
The Scot was adamant he doesn’t want to “overcook” his players despite the importance of the Irons finishing the season as strongly as possible.

He told West Ham: “There’s a chance that both of them could make it. They both did a bit of training over the international break. I’m not quite sure both of them are match-fit and ready, that’s my only concern.
“We have to concentrate on this game first. We’ve got a busy schedule, so we’ve got to be aware of that and make sure we don’t overcook any of the players, but at the same time we need to win the next game.”
No risks
With all due respect to Everton, West Ham should have more than enough to get past the relegation strugglers without either of them featuring from the start.
They have been awful on their travels this season, barely even scoring a goal of late therefore, this should be a routine win at the London Stadium.

It will be important to integrate the pair back into action for as long as possible if they are ready enough.
Moyes will want them both as sharp as possible with the fixtures coming thick and fast, particularly Bowen with the first leg against Lyon right around the corner.
As the 58-year-old admitted though, he certainly won’t be rushing them back into action and rightly so.
They are both key players to the team and will be needed heavily from now until the end of the season therefore risking them against Everton would be brainless.
Hopefully, they can both get some minutes under their belts and come away from the game unscathed.
